The online collection and picture sale

Bekea'Duo + Habitare explores the permanent tension that accompanies man in the contradiction between his thoughts and his actions. The deteriorated, rusty surfaces bear the imprint of history, the vagaries of existence. The zinc, with its visible imperfections and irregular colour effects, alludes to the passing of time and seeks a closer approach to the spectator. The geometry and impenetrability of the volumes generate the opposite effect. There are no cuts or openings to show the inside. An iron staircase is the only route offering access to this impregnable building. But, once again, we come up sharp against impossibility: the staircase becomes an independent feature and its presence is assumed to be unnecessary. The scale, neither too big nor excessively small, also affects this duality by allowing the spectator to contemplate the construction from a certain distance or come closer to it to experience its surroundings and exterior.
